Strzelecki relies on three pitches: a 93.5 mph fastball that he throws 53% of the time, along with a slider (33%) and changeup (14%). All three pitches produced a 30% whiff rate or higher as the rookie reliever impressed in his debut. Strzelecki struck out 40 over 35 innings (30 appearances) with solid ratios, but also walked 10.1% of the batters he faced. He did get some high leverage work late in the season when the Brewers were eliminated from playoff contention, recording a save and four holds. If Strzelecki improves his walk rate, he could ascend Milwaukee's leverage ladder in 2023, but he has strikeout upside even if he's not providing saves or holds.
