Anderson Brito

21-Year-Old PitcherP
Tampa Bay Rays A+
2026 Fantasy Outlook
An undersized 5-foot-10 righty with monster stuff and durability concerns, Brito was dealt to the Rays along with Jacob Melton in this offseason's three-team deal that sent Brandon Lowe to Pittsburgh and Mike Burrows to Houston. The Rays are notorious for acquiring prospects right before their stock takes off, and Brito fits the mold of a high-upside player they would try to get their hands on. He's just 21, but the 60.2 innings he threw across High-A and the Arizona Fall League in 2025 marked a career high. Brito didn't pitch between June 21 and the AFL due to a stress reaction in his shoulder. He touches 100 mph with his four-seamer and has several promising secondary pitches. It's still early in his development, and his new organization will likely work with him on some things, but there's little doubt Brito will have the pitches to make it as an impact starter. The two big question marks are his command and ability to handle a starter's workload. He had a 13.4 percent walk rate at High-A and a 14.9 percent walk rate in the AFL. Brito will likely be an ascending asset in dynasty leagues for as long as he stays healthy. Read Past Outlooks
