Arias lacks exciting physical tools, but he has one of the most advanced hit tools in the minors and reached Double-A late last season as a 19-year-old. He didn't hit for much power at High-A (.115 ISO), but Arias wasn't getting challenged as a hitter. His 8.9 percent strikeout rate and 0.91 BB/K were top-five marks among all qualified hitters at High-A. The righty-hitting Arias turned 20 this offseason, so his 87 wRC+ in 10 games at Double-A shouldn't be held against him. Public scouting reports are more bullish on Arias' shortstop defense than they were a year ago, and if he can stick at the position, it would put less pressure on him to tap into notable power. While it is easy to envision Arias developing into a No. 1 or No. 2 hitter who chips in 10-15 homers, his fringe-average speed puts a cap on his fantasy upside. Read Past Outlooks
