Michael Arroyo

21-Year-Old Second Baseman2B
Seattle Mariners AA
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Arroyo is moving to left field on a full-time basis in 2026, as the Mariners look to organize their roster with the next couple years in mind. A former second baseman, Arroyo has been consistently productive at the plate, although his first run at Double-A was the first time since 2023 at Single-A that he failed to hit for notable power. He slashed .269/.422/.512 in 65 games during a return to High-A and then slashed .255/.376/.341 with two home runs in 56 games at Double-A. His command of the zone actually improved following the promotion (0.77 BB/K at Double-A, 0.60 BB/K at High-A), but his flyball rate dipped six percentage points and his pull rate dipped four percentage points while his HR/FB dipped below 14 percent (3.1 percent) for the first time since 2023. While the stocky 5-foot-10 Arroyo will look to steal the occasional base, he'll need to earn everyday playing time with his righty bat. If he is just OK on offense, he'll probably be relegated to a utility role. He's just 21 and had a 139 wRC+ in his age-20 season, but Arroyo's dynasty value has slipped slightly after his power outage at Double-A. Read Past Outlooks
