Arguably the headliner in the package of prospects the Rays received from Baltimore this offseason for Shane Baz, the 6-foot-3 Forret commands a deep arsenal and reached Double-A for the first time to close 2025. Forret didn't pitch in May due to a back injury and was limited to 74 innings after throwing a career-high 99.2 innings in 2024. He sits in the low-90s with his two fastballs, while his plus curveball and slider are his top two pitches. Forret's changeup isn't far behind, and after logging a 7.4 percent walk rate last year, his future is clearly in the rotation.
