A 6-foot-5 righty whom the Rangers selected in the sixth round of the 2023 First-Year Player Draft, Scarborough didn't pitch much prior to 2025 and turns 21 in April. In 11 starts from June 29 on, Scarborough logged a 0.57 ERA, 0.61 WHIP and 58:8 K:BB in 47.1 innings across Single-A and High-A. After logging a 17 percent walk rate in 10.1 innings in 2024, Scarborough had a 6.1 percent walk rate across 88 innings last season.
