Foley missed most of the 2025 campaign following arthroscopic right shoulder surgery. The 30-year-old was subsequently non-tendered by the Tigers this offseason, but inked a one-year deal with the Giants a few weeks later. Foley's recovery will keep him out of action until midseason, but the right-hander will remain under team control through 2028. If he can return to pre-surgery form - he tossed his sinker in the upper 90's while inducing plenty of ground balls - he could quickly ascend San Francisco's high-leverage hierarchy.
