Shoulder, ankle and right elbow injuries limited Garcia to just 21 innings in 2025. The elbow injury, in particular, forced the 35-year-old to miss the entire second-half and ultimately required surgery to clean up scar tissue around the elbow. When healthy, Garcia has served a key setup role for Toronto - over the past four seasons with the Blue Jays, he's racked up 12 saves, 11 wins and 57 holds across 185 appearances - so his return to the team will be highly anticipated. Garcia owns a 1.06 WHIP and 20.3 K-BB percentage for his career, along with 29 career saves, so he could even close games if the circumstances warrant it.
