Rodriguez stayed healthy last season and made 29 starts, which was the only major difference from 2024 as his 5.02 ERA, 1.54 WHIP, 8.3 K/9 and 3.5 BB/9 were all nearly identical. He served up a career-high 25 homers but still managed a 9-9 record. His 4.44 xFIP and 4.50 xERA weren't quite as bad, but it's the second straight year he performed notably worse than his expected figures, so a resurgence doesn't appear overly likely as he enters his age-33 campaign. Rodriguez is owed $40 million across the next two seasons, so he's likely to get another look in Arizona's rotation to begin 2026. Unless they're really feeling lucky, fantasy managers shouldn't invest more than a late-round flier, however. Read Past Outlooks
