Drew Waters

Waters spent most of the first half of the 2025 season with the Royals but saw his playing time slowly decline in June before being demoted to Triple-A Omaha in early July and did not see major-league action for the rest of the year. His numbers at the plate were slightly worse in the majors (.604 OPS) than they were in Triple-A (.713 OPS), but it wasn't as much of a discrepancy as it was in 2024. What's more concerning for Waters is that his steal numbers took a noticeable dip in 2025 compared to the year prior, a trend that would hurt his value if that were to continue this season.
