Mauricio Dubon

Dubon won his second Gold Glove in 2025 for his superb work as a slick-fielding utility player. Unfortunately, while the 31-year-old provides value on the defensive side, his offense was even worse than normal in 2025. Dubon's .283 wOBA ranked 223rd out of 242 players to reach at least 350 plate appearances, and his .289 on-base percentage was 210th on that same list. His only real asset at the plate is that he never strikes out, and while that helps him maintain a solid batting average, Dubon provides next-to-nothing in the way of counting stats. Dubon did get a potential playing-time boost with an offseason trade to Atlanta, where he is currently projected to handle shortstop duties. Perhaps first base coach/baserunning guru Antoan Richardson can squeeze some more stolen bases out of Dubon, who ran often in the minors but who has a total of just 22 steals in seven big-league seasons.
