Atlanta signed Guerra to a minor-league contract Jan. 2.

Guerra last pitched in the big leagues in 2023, having spent the previous two seasons in Japan. The 30-year-old former shortstop has an ugly 6.43 ERA and 45:43 K:BB across 63 innings at the major-league level.
