The Rockies acquired Brooks from the Marlins on Tuesday in exchange for Bradley Blalock, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.

Brooks, 24, split the 2025 season between High-A Beloit and Double-A Pensacola, finishing with a 4.33 ERA and 97:24 K:BB over 116.1 frames. The right-hander will likely begin the 2026 season either at Double-A Hartford or Triple-A Albuquerque.
