It won't be easy for Yelich to break out of his slump with Shohei Ohtani starting for the Dodgers. In 528.2 career innings during the regular season, Ohtani has allowed just 388 hits, which has helped him produce a 3.00 ERA and a 3.18 xERA. In his outing against the Philadelphia Phillies in the previous round, he allowed three hits and three runs over six innings, while recording nine strikeouts. Considering how bad Yelich is slumping at the plate right now, it's difficult to envision him turning things around with this matchup on tap.
