Boston Red Sox vs Tampa Bay Rays Best Bets and Predictions

With a little more than a week left in the 2025 MLB season, the playoff races are hot and heavy. The Red Sox are in the middle of it, but their offense has shut down since Roman Anthony ended up on the IL.

Boston goes with their ace Garrett Crochet in this must win game. Crochet has been one of the best pitchers in baseball, but has been giving up lots of long balls lately. Drew Rasmussen has also been homer prone in recent starts. Both pitchers have been able to limit the opposition, with Crochet doing it with swing and miss stuff and Rasmussen limiting baserunners.

The Red Sox are 7-2-1 to the UNDER in their last 10 games.

Best Bet: Red Sox/Rays UNDER 7.5 runs for 1 unit (ESPN Bet -135)

Seattle Mariners vs Houston Astros Best Bets and Predictions

I am going to come back with another UNDER play as this one features the Mariners and the Astros. This is a huge series as both teams are tied with a 84-69 record and the season series is tied at 5-5.

Bryan Woo and Hunter Brown are two of my favorites pitchers and among the  best young arms in the American League. They also usually go at least 6 innings per start.  Woo has a 3.02 ERA over his last 7 starts and Brown is at a 1.66 ERA in his last 10).

This game and series is just way too close to call on paper, so I will lean towards the total going UNDER.

Best Bet:  Mariners/Astros UNDER 7.5 runs for 1 unit (DraftKings -118)

New York Yankees vs Baltimore Orioles Best Bets and Predictions

Trevor Rogers has been lights out all year and it is hard to imagine him being a home dog against the Yankees, but that's the line. The Orioles have won 4 out of his last 5 home starts in which he was a dog.

Will Warren got roughed up in his last outing against the Red Sox for 6 earned runs and 10 hits in 5 innings. He also does not have good history against the Orioles in 2 starts this season going 9.2 innings with a 5.59 ERA and 1.66 WHIP.

Anothe thing to consider is how bad the Yankees bullpen is with a 6.22 ERA so even if this is a tie ball game or close after 5 or 6 innings, the Orioles can get to them.

Best Bet: Orioles ML for 1 unit (FanDuel +106)
