Milwaukee Brewers vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Betting Picks

  • Dodgers ML (-150) at Bet MGM for 1 Unit

The Brewers had a hard-fought NLDS matchup with the Cubs that went to five games. Freddy Peralta started Game 4 and Jacob Misiorowski logged four innings out of the bullpen in Game 5, meaning both won't be available for the first game of the NLCS. That leaves the Brewers to roll with Quinn Priester, Jose Quintana or deploy another bullpen game for Monday.

The Dodgers don't have the same uncertainty with their starting rotation. They will gowith Blake Snell for Game 1, marking his third start of their current playoff run. In the Wild Card round, he limited the Reds to two runs over seven innings. He then logged six shutout innings against the Phillies in the NLDS. Across those two starts, he punched out a total of 18 hitters. The Dodgers have a significant starting pitching advantage, leaving them in a good spot to win Game 1.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Seattle Mariners Betting Picks

  • Mariners team total 3.5 walks: OVER (+105) at DraftKings Sportsbook for 1 Unit

In a low scoring Game 1, the Mariners emerged with the win. They held the Blue Jays to one run and two hits, while Cal Raleigh went deep again for the Mariners. The Mariners didn't exactly dominate with just three runs of their own, but they had seven hits and three walks. During the regular season, they drew the ninth-most walks in baseball.

Trey Yesavage will start Game 2 for the Blue Jays. The rookie has made a big leap to the majors after beginning 2025 at Single-A. He showed control issues, posting a 10.5% walk rate across all of his stops in the minors. Further, he issued at least two walks in all three of his regular season starts with the Blue Jays, despite not pitching more than five innings in any of them. He even had one outing against the Royals in which he walked three batters over four innings. In a pressure-packed Game 2, it wouldn't be a surprise if Yesavage has control issues and contributes to the Mariners hitting this over.
