Best Bets for NFL Week 14

Best Bets for Cincinnati Bengals at Buffalo Bills | Chase Brown: Over 70.5 Rushing + Receiving (-115)

Brown has gained 100+ total yards in six straight games, and now he gets a phenomenal matchup against a Bills' defense that is allowing the third-most rushing yards per game to the position (112.8).

Buffalo has been strong against receiving RBs, allowing the fifth-fewest yards per game to RBs (23.9), but Brown is a matchup-proof player in this aspect. In fact, he's got at least seven targets in three of his last four games, so he may add plenty of yards based on volume alone.

The real key here will be the weather forecast, which currently has a 60% chance of snow during the game time. If that's the case, the volume will undoubtedly be tilted in Brown's favor, and it will be the easiest money we've ever made in our lives.

Best Bets for Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers | Josh Jacobs: 2+ Touchdowns (+290)

It was an encouraging sign to see Jacobs get 83 rushing yards on 17 carries in last week's game; this was his first game back after aggravating that lingering calf issue. Well, he gets a couple extra days of rest ahead of this matchup where the Packers are a sizeable 6.5-point favorite. And my antenna was already raised, considering Jacobs' odds to score 2+ TDs are much lower than anyone else – next closest is +1100.

Nevertheless, the Bears are allowing the fourth-most yards per carry to the RB position (4.0), and the Packers should be able to get some strong pushes up front. We have even seen two similarly profiled RBs (Ashton Jeanty and Derrick Henry) score multiple TDs against Chicago this season.

Best Bets for Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs | CJ Stroud: Over 11.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Last week against the Colts, Stroud returned to the Texans' lineup for the first time in a month, but he did not have a true rushing attempt; he kneeled the final snap. A lot of that probably has to do with the fact that he was returning from a concussion, so I'm not too worried.

Now, Stroud has a game under his belt and finds himself in a great matchup for QBs taking off against the Chiefs, who are allowing the third-most running attempts per game (5.4) and eighth-most rushing yards to QBs (21.3). Over his last 10 games on the field, Stroud has topped this mark in eight of them – the misnomers were last week and missing the mark by the hook back on Sept. 28. Stroud really doesn't even run that often, but he makes it count; he's got runs of 10+ yards in seven of his last 10 games.

NFL Week 14 Picks

  • Chase Brown: Over 70.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-115)
  • Josh Jacobs: 2+ Touchdowns (+280)
  • CJ Stroud: Over 11.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
