Paulinho News: Takes three shots, can't score

Paulinho generated three shots (one on goal) in Wednesday's 1-0 loss against Monterrey.

Paulinho was Toluca's most dangerous player in the absence of Alexis Vega (hamstring), but the Portuguese forward was unable to capitalize on the limited opportunities he generated. Paulinho will need to be at his best in the return leg of this tie Saturday. He scored eight goals in nine Apertura matches at home between both the regular season and the Liguilla.
