Jesus Orozco Injury: Suffers injury against Tigres

Orozco was unable to finish Saturday's 1-1 draw against Tigres due to a nasty ankle injury, Alan Lara of Sky Sports Mexico reports.

Orozco twisted his right ankle in the final minutes of the game after coming on as a substitute in the 63rd minute. The apparent severity of the problem suggests the defender won't play again in 2025 and perhaps not even for the start of 2026. However, with his team knocked out of the Apertura playoffs, his absence would currently affect them only in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. Gonzalo Piovi, Erik Lira and Willer Ditta will likely stay put in the back line if Orozco is ruled out.
