Assane Diao News: Takes two shots against Inter

Diao (thigh) drew two fouls and generated two shots (one on goal), one interception and one cross (one accurate) in 45 minutes in Saturday's 4-0 defeat against Inter Milan.

Diao came off the bench at the interval and looked pretty spry in his return from a thigh injury despite a rough outing for his side. He had at least one cross in every display so far, totaling six in five matches (one accurate) and notching four shots (one on target). On the other hand, his return could be short-lived, as he might be called up by Senegal for AFCON 2025.
