Alexis Vega Injury: Misses another game

Vega (hamstring) was excluded from the match squad to face Monterrey on Saturday after failing to recover from his injury, Claro Sports reports.

Vega failed to meet his recovery prognosis and was ultimately sidelined in both semifinal legs. He may have a last chance to return if Diablos advance to the championship matchup. Meanwhile, Helinho will continue to feature alongside Nicolas Castro and Jesus Ricardo Angulo in offensive midfield. This could once again be a huge blow for the squad given that Vega is one of their most talented attackers.
