Justin Haley

Haley will be back for a second, full-time campaign with Kaulig Racing in 2023. The young driver made good progress last season with four Top 10's and 22nd-place finish in the driver points. He would manage a very respectable 16.9 average finish over the final 10 events of last season. Haley should continue to get better and progress as we enter the new season. He'll have a full-time teammate in AJ Allmendinger, which will only help with his weekly feedback and team collaboration. Haley will be with crew chief Trent Owens once again and the two will look to continue building on what they've established over the past year. Haley seemed to have his best races on intermediate and larger ovals, and he wasn't too bad on road circuits either. That's something to keep in mind for weekly lineup fantasy leagues.

Haley returns for season two at the Cup Series level. However, he makes the move from Spire Motorsports to his more familiar Kaulig Racing stable. This is the same team that gave Haley his big break in the sport and has put an Xfinity Series car under him for 98 starts and four victories in that division of NASCAR. The 22-year-old driver collected just two Top-10 finishes in 31 starts with Spire Motorsports last season. Haley will hope for better results in the team's No. 31 Chevrolet. Kaulig is a very successful Xfinity Series team and they're hoping to make a smooth transition to the Cup Series in 2022. Haley's youth and extensive experience in all three of NASCAR's top divisions should be a good asset for this team. There will be some growing pains to be sure, but Haley is one of the up-and-coming talents in the sport.

Haley had a banner year in his second full season of Xfinity Series competition. The young driver piloted the team's Chevrolet to three victories, 21 Top-10 finishes and an impressive third-place championship points finish. Those accomplishments were all major improvements over his rookie season of 2019. Haley returns to Kaulig Racing in 2021 and will continue driving the No. 11 entry. This team returns intact with all major parts and sponsorship in place. He'll set his sights on winning races and contending for the championship again in 2021. With the departure of Chase Briscoe from the Xfinity Series, Haley's odds of winning the title improve slightly. The 21-year-old talent will have to deal with a lot of other young talent in this division of NASCAR to make that happen, but Haley has some valuable experience going for him that the other drivers don't have entering this season.

The youngster had an eventful rookie season in 2019. Haley grabbed four Top-5 and 20 Top-10 finishes en route to a respectable 12th-place finish in the series points. He also made three forays into the Cup Series, grabbing a shocking victory in the summer Daytona race. Haley is a 20-year-old talent and still has a lot of room to grow. He's won in every series that he's raced, so it's just a matter of time before he picks up a victory in the Xfinity Series. 2020 could be the season where this young driver explodes. Kaulig Racing continues to get better with each season and we expect that trend to continue in the upcoming campaign. Alex Yontz will return to crew chief for Haley and the two should continue to build on the very strong season they posted together in 2019.

The No. 11 Kaulig Racing team is one of the better performing small, one-car teams in the Xfinity Series. They enjoyed a lot of success with both Blake Koch and Ryan Truex over the last three seasons. Truex piloted the team's Chevrolet to a team-best mark of 11 Top-10 finishes in 2018. Haley has been brought in to replace Truex behind the wheel for the upcoming season. He gets the promotion from the Gander Outdoors Truck Series, and a tremendous campaign last season with that team. Haley raced the No. 24 GMS Racing truck to three wins, 18 Top-10 finishes and a third-place points finish at the end of last year. The 19-year-old driver still has lots to learn, but it's clear that he's wildly talented. Haley should have no trouble picking up where Truex left off, and continue moving this team forward.

Haley returns to the No. 24 team of GMS Racing after a successful rookie campaign in 2017. The Indianapolis native collected three Top-5 and 12 Top-10 finishes last year is what was a rock-solid campaign. He'll be reunited with the same team and same crew chief in Kevin Bellicourt. At just 18-years-old he has a lot of development left to do. Haley will undoubtedly take some steps forward in 2018. His 2016 K&N Pro Series East championship underscores his talent. This combination of driver and team will yield some results, but it remains to be seen if Haley can make his way to victory lane. It could take another year of truck series racing before he's ready to taste the thrill of victory.

GMSR brought on talented youngster Haley to pilot the team’s No. 24 truck this season. Haley is the 2016 K&N Pro Series East champion. He’s spent the last two season’s dominating that lower division of NASCAR. Haley has also made a fair number of ARCA Series starts over the last three seasons with one victory and nine Top-10 finishes in those 13 starts. Now he’ll get his shot at Rookie of the Year in the Camping World Truck Series. With such a talented crop of rookies this year, it will be a tough task. However, veteran ThorSport crew chief, Kevin Bellicourt, should help tremendously in this effort. This could be one of the sleeper teams and drivers among the rookie ranks in 2017.
