Stoppage win after weight miss
FeatherweightUFC
December 6, 2025
Santos defeated Muhammadjon Naimov via TKO (punches) at 0:21 of Round 3 at UFC 323 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It was another excellent performance from Santos, although much of the good work he put in this evening inside the octagon was largely negated by the fact he missed weight by 1.5 pounds on Friday morning. Santos was up two rounds on all three scorecards at the time of the stoppage. He looked sound defensively and landed a couple big shots here and there. The finish came when he destroyed Naimov with a right hand early in Round 3. The Brazilian has a ton of potential if he can get the weight cutting issues under control. He's won all four of his fights under the UFC banner.

Santos will fight Muhammadjon Naimov at UFC 323 on Dec. 6, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Santos remained perfect (3-0) in the UFC by taking down Sodiq Yusuff in May, and he'll now aim to continue his hot streak against Naimov. The 25-year-old will have momentum and two inches of reach in his favor in December, though his opponent has far more experience in the promotion.
Cruises past Sodiq Yusuff
FeatherweightUFC
May 17, 2025
Santos defeated Sodiq Yusuff via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Santos was gifted a split decision win over Francis Marshall in March in a fight in which everyone -- himself included -- knew he lost. He went back to work here against Yusuff and looked considerably better across the board. While the striking numbers were quite even, there's zero question Mairon landed the more impactful blows. He did an excellent job of limiting Yusuff's space and in general looked like the guy we expected to see when he won Season 32 of The Ultimate Fighter last August. Still just 24 years old, the effort in the Marshall fight could very well go down as nothing more than a fluke performance for Santos.

Santos, who took down Francis Marshall at UFC 311 in March, will get back in the ring against Sodiq Yusuff in May. The 24-year-old Brazilian fighter has started off 2-0 in the UFC.
Gets gift from judges in win
FeatherweightUFC
March 8, 2025
Santos defeated Francis Marshall via split decision (29-28, 27-30, 29-28) at UFC 313 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
To give you an idea how shocking this decision was, Santos -- who entered as a -250 favorite -- was upwards of a +700 underdog in the dying seconds of the bout. He clearly lost Round 1 after getting dropped late and nearly finished by Marshall. Santos put forth a better effort over the final 10 minutes, but he was never able to get in a rhythm, and the fact two judges gave him both of the frames is nothing short of shocking. The 24-year-old Brazilian and former Ultimate Fighter winner needs to be a whole lot better his next time out.
