Entering his age-26 season, Callahan doesn't look like he'll ever be a major scoring threat at the NHL level. He got his first taste of action with the Bruins last year, posting one goal in 17 games while averaging 14:09 of ice time. Assuming Boston's blue line is healthier in 2025-26, Callahan is unlikely to see much action with the big club, though he could serve as a spare defenseman from time to time.
