Carson Beck News: Little trouble with Pitt secondary

Beck was 23-for-29 passing for 267 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 38-7 victory against Pittsburgh. He also had five rushes for -17 yards.

Aside from his one interception, Beck carved through the Panthers' secondary for another excellent late-season performance from the quarterback. Across the final four games of the season, after Miami lost to SMU, he completed 80 percent of his passes for 1,125 yards, 11 touchdowns and one interception. Translation: he's played like one of the better quarterbacks in the country over his final four games as he desperately tries to make the Hurricanes look more appealing to the College Football Playoff Committee.
