Sam Merrill Injury: To remain out with hand sprain

Merrill (hand) is out for Friday's game against the Spurs.

The Cavaliers have ruled out Merrill with a right hand sprain for eight consecutive contests. The sharpshooter hasn't even received a questionable tag since the Nov. 19 game against Houston, heavily implying his status is more week-to-week than day-to-day. The door remains open for Craig Porter and Tyrese Proctor to be part of the rotation.
